Who We Are
Nearby to the Touristic Residence "I Salici del
Pingrosso" therae are two bikes routes (long about 11
Km). One goes to Grosseto and the other to Castiglione
della Pescaia, a very famous and nice village by the
sea.
The
Natural park of
Maremma and the WWF
areas of Burano and Orbetello are especially appreciated
by bird watchers and these places can be easily reached by
an half an hour car-drive. Maremma is famous for her
beautiful nature but also for the ancient villages.
At about 500 mt from the beach
resort "Il Lido" there is a very good sailing, wind-surf and
kite surf school where you can also find all the equipment
to practise these sports. Cruise boats leave from
Castiglione della Pescaia or Porto Santo Stefano for daily
excursions to the islands of Giglio, Giannutri and Elba.
